We were thrilled today to receive the award for Dalbo’s European Dealer of the Year at our 60th Doe Show’s opening day. Another first for our Tech and Innovation Centre being featured is FarmXtend. Come and see SoilXplorer at the new Doe Show Tech and Innovation Centre. SoilXplorer is a unique contact less, ISOBUS compatible soil sensor which offers you advanced soil sensing solutions. Not only on-the-go mapping but also real-time variable control solutions. The SoilXplorer sensor emits an electromagnetic signal into the soil while four coils measure the soil conductivity at four different depths. When the sensor is located 40 cm above the soil, these layers are: 0–25 cm, 15–60 cm, 55–95 cm and 85–115 cm. Based on a agronomic model it calculates soil texture, relative water content and compaction.
Associated with a GPS receiver, the system can record and map infield soil heterogeneities for each of the four soil depths. The electromagnetic signals have no influence on vegetation and underground life. By looking beyond the surface with each pass in the field to discover the heterogeneity of your soil reviews and optimise your daily farming activities accordingly and improve soil structure

A brand new feature for our 60th show is the Tech and Innovation Centre. One of the machines being showcased is the CropXplorer. CropXplorer is a crop biomass sensing machine from CNHi, which is mounted on the front of the tractor and works combination with a fertiliser spread on the rear. It uses two highly accurate optical sensors to measure crop biomass. These sensors are the most advanced sensors on the market. The data which they collect is then processed, via algorithms and is used to calculate the crop’s actual nitrogen. It then automatically adjusts the spreader on the tractor’s rear linkage, so that it applies precisely the right amount nitrogen that the crop needs at that time. The main advantage is the CropXplorer is doing on-the-go measurements and calculates the exact nitrogen requirement of the crop on that day. This is then optimising the nitrogen rates, so improving crop performance and help increasing yield

Did you know we design, build and fit lorry loader cranes from PM, Cormach and Maxilift, from our very own workshop, based at our Colchester branch.
We are the sole UK importer for Maxilift Cranes and can fit them to a range of vehicle types. Come and see our Ford Ranger, fitted with a Maxilift ML110.3ERS, on our dedicated Lorry Loader stand at the 2020 Doe Show. This particular crane gives a lift of 1 tonne at the side of the truck and 250kg right out at full reach of 3.73 metres. However, we can supply and fit lorry loader cranes from 0.5 to 230 tonne metre.

New to KRM is the Carre range of Mechanical Weeding Machines which can be seen at the 2020 Doe Show.
The demand for Mechanical Weed Control is growing, reports Keith Rennie, KRM’s M.D., due to the increasing legal requirements on crop care chemicals becoming even more stringent and crop resistance to chemicals increases.
We will have machines for Doe Show Visitors to view where we will be very keen to explain how we believe Carre can save growers cost and to become more environmentally responsible.
Back by very popular demand is the Kawasaki Driving Experience at the 2020 Doe Show.

Newly launched, the HX10A has many of the features of its bigger brother and sisters but weighing in at just 1 ton and small enough to fit through a standard domestic doorway. This powerful but nimble little digger has so many uses.
This size digger will be a hit with both plant hire companies and end users alike.
Although our hot drinks and cakes are free to all of our Doe Show Visitors, if you can spare some change to put in to the Air Ambulance collection boxes located at the Drinks Stations, it would be so very much appreciated.
At previous Doe Shows we have raised in excess of £1,000 for this great cause and who knows, maybe you will need the Air Ambulances help one day.

It may be February; it may be cold and it may be a little wet at times but the Doe Show demonstration plots are one of the most popular areas of the Show. Where else at this time of the year can you see the very latest Agricultural, Construction and Groundcare Machines in action?
With 200 areas of demonstration plots at your disposal, there will be plenty to see and do – don’t miss it.
Our very own resident artist, Steven Binks will again be exhibiting at our Doe Show.
Steven is well known for his high-quality paintings and other agricultural based art products and will have a large selection of his work for sale at the Show.
The 2020 Doe show will see the largest number of Doe Tractors ever gathered together at this event.
Alongside the companies own original DDD (Doe Dual Drive) and Doe 130 will be other Doe tractors, kindly loaned by their proud owners for the 2020 Doe Show. Some will be on static display but we shall have as many working on our demonstration plots as possible.
It will be a sight to be seen.
